Its been years, Literally.  I have a few questions I want to throw out.

First, I am looking to make an investment in Antminer S9's  not certain how many but I definitely want one to start.  With that said I know about power and network and cooling my first question is more directed towards the best pool's to generate highest payout.  I have searched and read a bit but it is still all confusing and the pool I was in back then is no longer running.  Anyone direction would be helpful.

Second, I've seen start up vids of the S9 and I am not 100% sure that I need mining software or if it comes with it.  Can anyone clarify?  If it doesn't that is fine what mining software is best.  I love GUI's but if needed what else is available?

tHird and lastly - I have a few RPi's not the current model what are the best current miners that can run on those?

Sorry, Thanks, and look forward to your reply

Please ref the top sticky of the Mining area https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1944976.0
The only 2 major makers of miners is Bitmain with their s9 and t9 miners and Canaan.io (Avalons). Yes there is also eBang and Hotmine but they are rare as hens teeth and just as hard to get.

All Bitmain miners are self contained, just need PSU and internet and yes has GUI setup.

Only the Avalon's use a separate controller and yes is a RasPi. Their sw also uses GUI for setup. Can use any model Pi but B3 is best mainly because it has 4 USB ports. The Avalons use a dongle and can string 5 miners off of each one so a 4-port Pi can run up to 20 miners.
