I wonder why the the problem with transaction costs and waiting time is still a part - why not make a crypto backed with BTC and made for what all we need to bring it to the word currency?
What would be the problems about a BTC backed currency? I mean if you see it in real life everybody wants a gold backed fiat and dont want to pay the meal with a gold nugget.

I really believe this would be a good way to solve the problem. Call it BitCredit - make it 1 sat = 1 Credit.

What you think?  Wink

Quite a valid point and one I have been contemplating on for a while also ... would be interesting to hear the thoughts of some "oldies" on the forum

I would start this with the right team. The world is waiting for the killer currency. This should be created for fiat like using for everybody. With BTC as backed currency, there will be more focus on this and the handling.

Because as soon that is resolved that imaginary crypto currency will have no value and it will not offer anything to anyone, also you will need to buy bitcoin for that to happen and that is expensive, finally I’m sure may will fear something similar to what happened to gold and fiat to happen again.

I think you do not understand.
Im not talking about a mineable own cryptocoin. Im talking about a fiat backed with BTC. This is like a Gold backed Dollar. The Dollar dont rise for it alone, it would be just a way to make the usability easier.

Are you hyping bitcredit?  Grin LOL. It was just listed on one of the trading platform. I used to be on a signature campaign with bitcredit. And I know see that it was pump and going to more than 100%. I'm still holding it till now so its really worth for me.
