satosamoto. I paid him via Paypal, he stopped responding. We agreed to do 2 BTC at $140 each. He had me send payment to his boyfriend's address. It said the payment wasn't going to clear for 21 days or something, so he refunded it, and I tried a different funding method from paypal, since I didn't actually have cash in my Paypal account.
After I paid a second time, he said it still wasn't going to clear for 21 days, and that he could get cash in 10 using some other service. He refunded the payment.
I called a business partner of mine to see if he had any money already in his Paypal account, and would send payment if I just gave him cash. He only had enough to purchase 1 BTC, so I contacted Satosamoto again and offered to purchase just 1 bitcoin using his account. He said he would sell me the original two if I just sent payment from my account again [Edit: Forgot to add the detail that this time I was going to just send it to HIS personal address]. I sent it again, this time as a gift to see if it would hold the funds for 21 days.
Of course it went through. I sent him a PM saying payment was there, asking him to confirm. He responded a few minutes later apologizing saying he had stepped away for a few minutes. Then immediately stopped responding altogether.
I sent several more messages over the next few hours asking for a response, telling him I was on a deadline and needed to hear back. Nothing.
Sent another PM this morning, after waiting to hear back for over 12 hours, and nothing. Sent an email to all 3 emails I had for him:
jdmerritt33@gmail.com,
misterkidder@live.com, and
osmosisnl@gmail.com, with the same message I'd sent to his PM, and a warning that I would report him on the forum, and contact paypal about the charges (I can't dispute it with Paypal directly, because it was a "gift") heard nothing. Googled two of his email addresses,
osmosisnl@gmail.com, and
misterkidder@live.com, and found one site with each of those emails where somebody reported him for scamming.
Couldn't find anything for
jdmerritt33@gmail.com.
I'm going to reverse the payment with my credit card company. I suggest everybody here stay well clear of this guy.
