Just recently Bitcoin.com reported on how the sex industry is embracing bitcoin as a payment platform. One business located in Las Vegas called the Legends Room strip club will soon be utilizing cryptocurrency solutions for its everyday operations.

The Legends Room founder Nick Blomgren explains that his club is focused on capturing the attention of millennials and tech enthusiasts. The Las Vegas gentlemen’s club opens at the end of May and plans to accept bitcoin for services such as private dances and drinks.

If there is one thing that Bitcoin cannot replace, it is dollar bills being showered on strippers. Of course you can pay for private dances and drinks using bitcoins, but that is different. Bitcoin has a much better chance in the online porn/sex industry.

I think this is a good move from them to combine the best of both worlds, crypto enthusiast in the world of entertainment. Correct me if I'm wrong but it looks like the Legends Room is the first club to offer membership that accepts crypto currency as payment system. Well its this is still good news for me as VIP members would have to buy bitcoins in order to avail of the services of the strippers or sex workers. But I think they are targeting a small niche here, bitcoin enthusiast who loves to go strip club. I just hope they succeed in this industry.

Actually, a pretty big niche if you think about the amount of people who go to Vegas every year and the amount of men in strip club. The numbers are deceptively huge.

I am surprise they realized just now the potential of having Bitcoin and cryptocurrency as payment will increase their audience, though probably they are doing good using the traditional mode of payment.  It is really a wise decision of the Legend Room to accept payment in  Bitcoin and target tech people.  This will bring them more client and have more advantage against their competitor.
