So is there any way of converting your paypal funds into Bitcoins? I would rather not send money to my bank account and then buy BTC that way. Any ideas?

I'd be interested in an answer to this as well.

If your ignore button isn't glowing, you're doing it wrong.

I think your best option is to find someone you TRUST with BTC willing to sell you BTC for PayPal payments. You could start building your trust level on the OTC channel too. Just google "bitcoin otc" for more info on that.

I'd suggest looking into https://localbitcoins.com/You may find someone near you willing to exchange for cash so you don't have to use PayPal. - snip - If you insist on PayPal, then: At VirWoX you can buy Second Life Lindens (SLLs) and pay for that purchase with PayPal (or credit card too). Then you can trade those SLLs for BTCs on their SLL/BTC exchange, and withdraw bitcoins later (within about a day). That's about the only method: - http://www.VirWoX.comIf you have a prepaid debit card from PayPal, you might find that using that card to buy bitcoins through LiqPay is another method. LiqPay is a payment method used by a few exchanges, including BTC-E: - http://en.bitcoin.it/wiki/Buying_bitcoinsThere's also new methods to use PayPal for buying coins discussed in this thread: Buying bitcoins w/paypal - http://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=130293.0

I sometimes accept payment from paypal on my supplybitcoins.com site, but I do require you to send as a 'family or friends' or 'gift' payment. If you like check out the site and shoot me an email to see if I will deal with you! I also accept other forms of payment. This is a newbies only type thing, and I won't sell more than $100 at a time. Hope this helps, -battmann

I try one way how to use paypal, you can buy on virwox SLL and then trade it for BTC, then withdraw it to where you need it. I test it it work, dont know when its best way, you propably dont have it for best price and for new account it will take 48hours. But it work, maybe for some one its usefull way.

I found a great site the other day: http://bcchanger.com/people post looking to buy or sell bitcoins, the site supports many different types of payment (including paypal for lots of people). Just need to be sure to use an escrow service to prevent losing any money! I did a 1 btc purchase the other day, worked like a charm. Just make sure to use escrow, so you don't get scammed.

http://bcchanger.com/ doesn't actually get any of the exchange themselves... (not sure how that fits into their business model...) but simply facilitates linking a buyer and a seller together... unless I really missed something when I did my transaction.
