XRP will soon be more decentralized than even Bitcoin. Thomas recently wrote a blog post explaining how.

Is this a joke?  How can a centralized thing can be decentralized?

Opinions on which ALT coins that will suffer "MOST" from the success of Ripple?

I think this one should be rephrase to "Opinons on who among the supporters will suffer MOST from the success of dump of XRP"

I guess the answer is this why regulators are pushing banks to adopt XRP.

The regulators received their xrp a long, long time ago...

At the end of the day it is all about profit. Anyway Good luck with your trading.

ripple is providing 1 solution to 1 problem - they have a very specific use case. other alts provide solutions to other problems. competition is also good for business, many can coexist within the same space.

Yeah, "they" also want ripple to open a Series C round of funding for actual equity.
But ripple may not ever "really" need it because of.... you guessed it. It starts with an X and ends in a P.

Ripple might make an acquisition by the end of the year.

Ripple will be more decentralized than BTC/ETH.. For XRP there will be much more regulated companies to validate transactions with strict rules. While BTC/ETH are centralized in the hands of a couple mining groups who can shut it down if they want. Also government will sooner or later do something as these ransomware, kidnappings and ask for payment in BTC etc. continue. Ripple XRP is regulated so the government cannot do anything. Also these validating companies have no reason to hurt the coin. They have people who can be our brothers, sisters, mothers and fathers working there. Don't make a little centralization to be a bad thing. Even in centralized companies it is us who work there not some people from a different planet. Ripple has done the lock-up and will only release how much is in the best interest of the coin if otherwise they can be sued unlike these other coins. Imagine a fully decentralized America where anything goes? A little centralization is important but the people have the power over the centralization and can replace it is democracy. That is what Ripple XRP is striving towards.

The thing I always find funny about ripple is how they just created 300million + XRP and caused a panic, then later said they will lock a lot of it up.

So interesting huh? Why make 300million+ for no reason then lock up a bunch.... Because they created their piece to give to the bankers of course!(my own theory). So they created all that to sell to bankers at a discounted rate, but they get a ton for it. The banks can then sell it over time and make I dunno, 10x 20x profit on their investment?

Seems like what a bank would do.

When the hype train ends and the price stops climbing which it seems to be stagnate now, it will signal time for many to sell off finally, XRP will drop to 20-30 cents

You do not even understand what decentralized means.

You know what group is not part of the government but manipulates the dollar? The federal reserve. You are just bending right over to the fed 2.0 right now because you think you can make a quick buck by holding some of their manipulated coin they can readily play around with. The same way you are willing to back something with a huge potential to be corrupt for a quick buck is the same way the people controlling Ripple will sell their souls and morals for a quick buck

If its to go by report of one media outlet or the other, then all alts will be great since they have more of their projects published on these sites but that's not the case. I am not making for or against XRP but without result to back it up on exchanges or market caps, with more development in that regards its just mere noiese and speculations that does not even change the equation of things.
