First of all move this to Alt sections. Then I feel you should choose Bitcoin instead. However you can go for ethereum or Monoroe but always remember it's a alt. Ether is lot in news so that's a popular choice, but do yourr study well and I am sure you will get more opinion in the alt section, though I don't invest in any alt so my opinion towards it is biased, make a good choice

not that many altcoins are good at this moment.
most of them, specially ethereum are in a big bubble and that means investing right now has a huge risk of getting dumped on and losing a lot of money.

if you care about your money then it is best to stay away from the bubbles in altcoin market. and if you want an investment then look into coins that are not yet pumped. it is a bit hard to find but there are some that have been low in the past 2 months instead of rising, these have a better chance of rising.

Ethereum is already 250 USD. Why do you want to invest Ethereum now? You are at least 1 year late to invest this coin. You should focus on cheaper coins which have active development and big userbase. You may try your chance with Edgeless, Matchpool or Waves. Split your money and minimize your risk.

Some altcoins I invested in you may need to consider: DigiByte(DGB), Siacoin & Golem. Would have included Statris but the price already gone up too high. Dont know if it will continue to that path.

I have difficulty in choosing any coin to invest now if you are looking to invest for the long term because most coins were up a lot since the start of the year.
Almost all altcoins are overvalued and I don't see any value in investing now. If your investment time frame is short term, buy coins that is in bull market and is currently correcting from its high.
