Because CHNCoin has such a fast block releasing time, your miner will get out of sync with the network pretty fast. This creates loads of stales/invalids. You can prevent this by adding the following flags to your miner:

-s 5 --expiry 5 --queue 0

Quote
--scan-time|-s <arg> Upper bound on time spent scanning current work, in seconds (default: 60)
--expiry|-E <arg>   Upper bound on how many seconds after getting work we consider a share from it stale (default: 120)
--queue|-Q <arg>    Minimum number of work items to have queued (0 - 10) (default: 1)
