What are your favourite photos? I don't necessarily mean the composition or the subject, more the story or theme behind them.

Here's a few current faves of mine.

John McGuinness and Guy Martin signing up for Honda for the Isle of Man TT. It kind of sums up the appeal of the sport to me. I can't quite see F1 teammates doing the same thing.

A dead famous photo to some. Adrian Street is a Welsh wrestler to ran away to London to avoid the mines. His father on the left told him he wouldn't amount to shit. Here he is back down the mines in all his finery having becoming world champ.

Dolly the sheep's descendants, or more correctly more Dolly the sheeps.

I like photos of nature, especially in infrared colors. Like this one:

Even though I enjoy high quality photos of nature and important history happenings, I have to be honest and say that my favorite photos are the ones that I, or someone close to me, took in my house or some things that are dear to me.
I'm a very nostalgic person, so getting to relive those moments through photos is an amazing experience for me. I had hundred and more cats and I hold a dear place in my heart for every one of them. So naturally, I love every cat photo that I have. It isn't about the quality, it's about the meaning behind it, like you said.

Images like these remind me about holidays, because I remember very well when each photo was taken and what it was like back then.
