I also just calculated Feathercoin's market cap out of curiosity... it equals 15449.6158 BTC.

So.. Feathercoiner's just printed themselves $1,853,953.89 usd in about one week.

That is one impressive pump job if I do say so myself.

That is also a good indication that FTC is currently overvalued.

Feathercoiner's are intentionally bumping FTC threads here to spark interest in their currency, making value go up very fast. Also, they are still creating trade threads here when they have their own forums and there are 3 exchanges that exist now for the currency... my guess is it's for the same reason, to spark interest (AKA. the PUMP part of DUMP.)

They even have a thread about it on their forums: http://forum.feathercoin.com/index.php?topic=88.0

kjlimo: I don't know any others off the top of my head, perhaps I will calculate a few more coins in a bit.

... lol ...

I never stated BTC/LTC wasn't a bubble. The only thing I said was FTC is overvalued...

Feathercoiner's putting words in my mouth...

You totally baited me in on that one too, I thought were asking me a serious question, but you were planning that trollish response all along.

If you want my true opinion on whether or not BTC is a bubble..

IMO, the BTC bubble already burst when it went from $260 down to $80 a couple weeks ago.

Maybe you could call this a mini bubble for BTC, but I think this price will stick around for a long time.

A lot of noobs have shown up the past few weeks and they all bought the prices of EVERY coin up.

I don't really care about it either.  BTC was a bubble last year too.  It stabilized and climbed to be a bigger bubble.  The reality is that all our valuations for houses, cars, and hard currencies are all bubbles.  we just take on a few zeros every generation.  is my house any better than it was 50 years ago.  It's all the same material.  If FTC is a bubble then LTC is one too, then so is BTC and then we get to the grand daddy bubbles, USD, Credit, Equities, Bonds.   BTC is a small fry compared to what is going on to the masses.

Bubbles com and go but cryptocurrencies aren't there yet.  Its when they get adopted by the masses.  When every other person on your street has a hashing box and we see GPU companies advertising rigs on TV, then it is a real bubble.  We are about 10 years away from that one.

Let's get visual:

Nice graph!

That really illustrates how we are all fighting for a very small portion of the crypto coin pie here over in ALT land.
