FC/FTC (FeatherCoin) cgminer p2pool.org nothing but "requested work restart"

I'm just wondering if anybody else is having issues with p2pool.org and FeatherCoin. I've been mining for about 50 minutes now (~500 KH/s according to cgminer) and I've had 20 shares accepted, 1 rejected, and a whole bunch of "Stratum from pool 0 detected new block" and "Stratum from pool 0 requested work restart". According to p2pool.org, I'm mining at 0.362 KH/s. I'm not seeing much of a point to mining in a pool with FeatherCoin if I'm effectively running over 1000x faster on my own.

I've copied the cgminer script I use for LTC and only changed the host, username, and password, so there aren't any config issues. Anyone know what's up?

cant successfully mine them either, had more luck with FeatherPool.com but still not getting decent speeds
