Just wondering if anyone can explain why I get such high stale rates with some pools, around 20-25%, while other pools give me ~1%. I'm currently using GUIMiner-scrypt and the settings are basically the same for each pool. Hash rate stays about the same, too.
Just MHO, I got I stale rates when I used to overclock my gpu too high...it wasn't necessarily the pool I was mining for...but I'm still new to the game so I could be a number of factors.
Also, the workload in GUIminer in extra flags for example: -w 128 or -w 256 could have affect high stales too.
Try doing more research (your GPU and best settings), hope this helps.
