Hey. you can get free coins here, i have, but you have to pass "newbie" grade before you can access the freebie threads. after you've done some more posts and such, you'll become a jr member, then you will find the freecoins in the alternative section.

oh! another thing, if you want to make trades here, watchout for known scammers like "FoundNemo" you can find up to date lists of known scam users in "Scam Accusations" (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?board=83.0).
