Have you seen this article at cointelegraph ( https://cointelegraph.com/news/dash-offshoot-sibcoin-aims-to-open-gate-for-chinese-traders-unite-russian-community )? It doesn't look like sponsored actually.
Too many players in the crypto community willing to write bribed articles I don't buy it isn't paid for.

Then they have enough money to pay for marketing! Grin

One of the key things Dash does well is to provide its users with additional privacy when completing transactions. The Dash network has Masternodes, as well as encouraging users not to spend their balance in their wallets. In addition, Dash is making a significant impact on the industry, particularly at points of sale through strategic partnerships.

Well, indeed by the end of this year DASH might give a HUGE surprise releasing DASH Evolution. Time will tell...

They don't even have a English web site.
Maybe Chinese web site.

No shit Einstein.  That should tell you to buy before it reaches the english speaking nations you dumb fuck.
I think you mean if it reaches English speaking nation's, the coin could always die before that like many Western altcoins die before hitting Asia.
Chances are it will die.  It's just another coin we don't need,  and this is turnong into a mudslinging match just like everything else associated with Dash.  Bring global politics into any discussion on altcoins and that's what's going to happen anyway.

Is this thing even alive yet?  Like traded on exchanges yet?

Think of all the forks and "crypto-son"s of bitcoin. Have any of them outperformed bitcoin? There's a reason for that.

Moreover, there's no reason DASH can't adopt anything that a fork does better.

If it was the exchange rate would be spammed all over with growth numbers taken out of context.

hah, it's like proof of stake for decision-making

SibCoin Offers a Simple Cross-border Money Transfer Solution

“The service is universal and may work anywhere. Any exchange services may join in. There are lots of such exchanges, but there’s no simple scheme that could make this whole multitude simple and comprehensible for a regular user. That’s the scheme we’re trying to deploy. A phone number and a password are simple enough for any rookie, I believe,” SibCoin’s head developer Ivan Rublev said.
