Yeah im not too sure what it gains.

I guess it stops spamming on other boards but if anything it will just turn people away.

Also... could i be sorted out now due to my 5 postings!

I think there is a small lead time for the database to update status after post count & time thresholds are met - probably a cron script or similar that runs at a set interval (just guessing).

Not ideal but I prefer a little wait & a clean forum to one covered in bot/spam postings, especially on a forum that discusses financial topics Smiley

Kind of a pain. I had an answer to a cgminer problem and couldn't post. I felt like I could finally contribute to the community and not be a leech and nope - no reply button Sad
