Create A new viable AltCoin

So, I have been lurking these forums for almost a year now and I have noticed recently a boom in the production of new alt coins. The only problem with this is the only reason there popular is because people mine them and dump them for profit. They have no real use.

I am looking to start a new alt currency that has uses. Imagine a crypto currency where you could walk into a supermarket and by a drink almost on the spot. We are a long way of from that, but we will get nowhere without trying.

Is anyone willing to help make such a currency? Then needed skills are:

• Developer

-Someone who can work on the coin and fix bugs etc.

• Web Devs

To start pools and a website

• Marketer

Someone willing to help get the word out and advertise the coin.

I have looked through the other posts recently as I have stated. The only problem is most people want a sustainable online currency. What is needed is real world application. I don't just want to try to do what others are as well. Take PPC for an example it had a good innovative new idea, make a coin that has many innovations and it just may pick up.
 Also this is just an idea, thanks for you opinion though.

Really need to develop some sort of universal payment infrastructure first before creating any more coins, IMO.

So, your marketing efforts are going to trump BTC?

Hey, if you want to create a new coin, super.  I'll mine it and sell it.  The amount of work you do isn't going to even come close to the Bitcoin community.

FYI - if you get close to creating that magic coin - it will be killed with a 51% by the BTC overlords.  They didn't spend all this time to create a coin that is going to loose to an Alt Coin.  They 'tolerate' Alt Coins but they ain't going to let any Alt Coin take over BTC unless it's so innovative that professors from MIT/CALTECH are in AWE of the new features.

If there was a like button for this, I would have raped it worse than I did feathercoin and chinacoin.

Someone could create a site called 'instacoin'.  It would take parameters and generate ALL of the files needed to make a new alt-coin.  Just upload the logo, set the rates, block sizes, mining formula and other features and the site would bundle everything into one downloadable zip.  With the number of new add almost nothing alt-coins out there I am surprised this site does not exist already.

It's always the same scenario.

I (complete newbie) have a <blah blah upmostly vague and common place or completely unrealistic> idea but I am not a developer, so who want to <do all the work> with me so that I do <nothing or equivalent> (and reap the <hypothetical benefits I have be daydreaming about since this morning>).
