Given the scarcity of RX's, I've been looking at alternatives based on the figures thrown up in https://whattomine.com/coins.  How accurate are these numbers?  I'm assuming they are in the ballpark for comparison purposes?  Or not at all?

It looks like the 1070 is a better card in terms of hashrate and power usage for most algorithms compared to the 470, which I think is similar in most respects to the 570.  The only exception being cryptonight which the 1070 is about 25% worse.

The 1070 cost (in Australia) is around 60% more expensive than the RX570 but it's available which the 570 isn't.  Also, given the 1070 does better hashrates on most algorithms with the same or less power usage, I'm thinking it might be viable for longer, especially as difficulty increases as it can be profitable on a larger range of coins.

For those using 1070's already, are they any easier or harder to setup and over/under clock etc, compared to the RX's?  I'm especially keen to hear experiences of those who have used both types.

Different brands of 1070's seem to have significant price differences for an 8gb GTX 1070.  For mining does it matter much if it's an

MSI GAMING X
ASUS TURBO
ASUS DUAL
ASUS STRIX
GIGABYTE N1070XTREME

They are all GTX 1070's with 8gb of ram.  The cheapest seems to be the ASUS TURBO.  Is there a good reason to get a more expensive one?
