Why does my solo mine report such a high difficulty?    It should be 8  Huh   Or does the 526K number refer to something else.

Having the same issue. Difficulty 526k. If anyone knows how to resolve this that would be great!

Also having trouble connecting to the computer with the wallet on from another computer on the network. Using IP address acquired through ipconfig and port setup int he chncoin.conf file but it gives me an incorrect URL message.

Ok so don't worry about this. It's because cgminer is showing what the difficulty would be if it was a BTC network. Divide by 65536 to get the correct value. If you mine litecoin you will see it's 31.6M at the moment. Divide that by 65536 and you'll have 482ish, which is correct.
