Today, one of my hashing board experiences the absence of ASIC chips from 72 chips to 33 chips. This results in reduction of 74 MH/s out of 504 MH/s. In the photo below, I reduced the frequency to 350 mHz. and I did the factory reset and firmware upgrade too.
https://i.imgur.com/K2SLeQv.jpgbelow photo shows the kernel log indicating 33 ASICs were found on chain number 3. It shows that the address scanning on I2C bus only found address for 33 chips. Now I wondered why the remaining ASICs do not response to the I2C bus? Maybe the chips are dead or the chips are not powered? I did swap the connector to check that the problem is really come from that board.
