What's the best way to turn fiat into BTC?

Bonus points if any of the following:

    it's very fast

    doesn't require ID

is well explained on the website

Please state which criteria your favorite exchange features. And which other ones you've used and the successfulness.

Almost all of wellknown and huge and trusted exchange really requires a valid id of yours when depositing fiat currency(ofcourse for security measures).Best thing to do  to exchange fiat currency to bitcoin that doesnt requires is peer to peer buying

Well I always go for a legit local exchangers and trusted exchanger such as coinbase and bitfinex.  And also, I'm checking other exchanger to check which offers better rate and which of them has the best reviews.

Quoted from a one of my previous posts:

Hey. Your options can vary depending where you are from. But I recommend you to read this website that will help you with several questions you may have initially if you are just starting to buy Bitcoin: https://howtobuybitcoin.io

About the comparison, check out this website for the Broker options other than the recommended in the website above:
https://99bitcoins.com/best-bitcoin-exchanges-comparison-review/

I don't think you will find a exchange with good rates that don't require a ID verification. Most of them follow the called "Know your Customer", and "Anti Money Laundering" (KYC/AML) laws enforced by FINCEN (financial crimes enforcement network) in the US for any businesses that qualifies as a "Money Service Business" or "Money Transmitter".

no id will be your stumbling block, even localbitcoins wants it most of them time.

take a look at bitsquare.io. that's p2p and decentralised. i don't know if there are premiums on there.

forget cards for whatever you're planning.

I've done quite a few btc->fiat transactions on there and I can tell you that the system bitsquare has is legit.  The only "premiums" that come from using that exchange platform is from other peers setting it that high.  What drives down the costs are purely from competition and how badly you want to sell/buy.

I've also done a few transactions on localbitcoins as well, and the same goes for ID's... it's basically the person selling the bitcoins gets to decide how much info he wants from you to determine if you are trust worthy to sell too, as well as other things to consider, like taking pictures of receipts if you are depositing cash with a cash deposit to their bank account, etc.

Edit: what's great about bitsquare, is that there really isn't a need to talk to the other person at all really... so the ability for a seller to require an ID to trade is non existent.

You can also check BTC-e.com. Its a trading platform..

You can deposit fiat by perfect money, okpay, moneypolo, internaitonal wire transfer.
Except the internaitonal wire transfer, others are instant.. Though I didn't used moneypolo personally yet.

So as soon as you get the money in your BTC-e account, you can buy BTC easily.

I hope it helps!

Coinbase is relatively fast to start with, even can use credit cards. But as a cost, the fee is high.

the only way that you can not-give your ID is if you buy face to face with cash. in any other way your identity will leak somehow. even when buying from btc-e and using their fiat deposit methods your fiat accounts such as PM are linked to you in one way or another.

all the rest will need your ID and there are many good ones mostly depending on where you live but usually coinbase, kraken, cex.io are the ones i suggest.

Buying the dip...

Quickbt is good for small amounts with no id required and quadrigaCX is good for bigger amounts. Id is required but your limits will be within an actual useful range.

Oh these are Canadian so might be useless to you.

Then the only thing I can suggest you is person to person trade. There is no decentralized exchanges as far as I know. If there is, I will doubt using that services since I will just maximize the risk of being scammed as they are not being recognized as a legit company.

And with person to person trade, there is no limits as long as your trading partner can match your demand. Where is the best place to established that? Facebook groups via meetup or here in this forum as long as both parties agree in using escrow. Anyways ID verification will increase you limits. I don't see any problem if I shown my valid ID to them.

I use remitano, it's the only system that helps people buy bitcoin in cash in my country, and of course, we have to pay a fee, but it's very convenient for everyone.

Is there at least an exchange that won't take days to buy Bitcoin?!

Coinbase are in mainland Europe and bank transfers are horrible from the UK to there. And I got screwed on the exchange rate both ways.

The fastest way to get Bitcoin instantly without ID is usually physical Bitcoin  ATMs, available in most cities.
The disadvantage is that often fees are high, rates not very good.
Where I live the next ATM is a 3minute walk from my home. I can get BTC this way within 20 minutes without ID. 24hours a day, 7days a week.

For UK see for example here: https://coinatmradar.com/country/225/bitcoin-atm-united-kingdom/

You're lucky. I need to take a bus to get to my nearest ATM. I have been using the ATMs exclusively to turn my £fiat into BTC.
