Hey folks,

I just switched to Simpleming OS... I loved the concept and the easy way to monitor and control multiple rigs, BUT yes BUT I noticed a HUGE loss of hashrate from my rig. 6x GTX 1070 hashing eth at 192mh/s total -32mh/s ea dual mining pascal on windows 10 now the same settings on linux I only get 180mh/s total - ea 29.6 mhs. Why??? Sad Please anyone can help me out?

Thanks

From what it looks like it seems that only 1 card is actually mining, can you check and confirm that all your cards are mining?

Ahh I apologize. I've misread! Smiley Might be to some small tweaks, like OC rates, etc? All the same?

Probably drivers problem. Linux still has not as good drivers as Windows for mining no matter it maybe better than Windows for recognizing devices out of the box and mostly during installation process.

Pretty much spot on. This is actually the only reason why I'm mining with Win instead of Linux => drivers for graphic cards. Nothing else.

You really need to let us know what your current Overclock settings are on the Simple Mining Rig List tab, I assume you are overclocking the core and memory, while lowering the wattage draw from the stock draw, but you will find optimum advice headed your way more quickly if you list your current overclock settings in Simple mining

Ok,

Linux 100, 1100, 200 for power limit watt.

Using windows I was getting 100, 830, 95% power limit (less OC with my hashrate power).

That's sucks big time!!!

Please try

Core = 200                     <"I believe this is equal to +100 in Afterburner / Windows"
Memory = 1400               <"this is equal to +700 in Afterburner / Windows"
power limit = 161 watt     <"this is equal to TDP to 90% in Afterburner / Windows" in SMOS / Linux you set the actual Watt, not a percentage,

Please try these settings and report back,

PS. Linux uses effective clock, so if you could really pull off 830 under windows stable, then that setting would be 1660 under Linux I do Believe,
"+1660" being effective Memory clock, or same as +830 in Afterburner / Windows.

Yes! You are so right! Make no sense to me about the difference ehehe! But I changed to 100, 1600, 180. Now I'm doing 195mh/s ETH and 1956H/S pascal! Thanks! Cheesy

Core 200 in linux does not equal to core 100 on windows
Core overclock value is the same on both systems
But memory overclock should be double as its the "gpu memory transfer rate offset"
