Hello, I am new to mining, so please some patience. Am using NiceHash Miner v1.7.5.13. Have a Win10x64 PC with AMD RX 480 GPU. Have downloaded AMD drivers 16.11.5 as suggested here (https://github.com/nicehash/NiceHashMiner/wiki/AMD-drivers-version-information). While trying to run benchmark for GPU algorithms, it crashes with BSOD (atikmdag.sys) for all except DaggerHashimoto. So now I can only mine with CryptoNight (for CPU) and DaggerHashimoto (for GPU).
Can anyone tell me or direct me to another thread to solve this issue?

Welcome to the zoo.

hella lotta crashes on benchmark recently - not just you

those are prolly the only algos you'll need for now

if you bsoded you prolly need to reinstall drivers. use google for that? dun worry about more recent drivers than nicehash recommend - it's usually ok for basic stuff

possibly also v1.7.5.12 is less buggy

depends how technical you are, but you can get more by changing tack slightly.

read the last day or so here. a newb was set up directly mining nicehash

Thank you. I've downloaded previous version and so far the results are much better. Benchmarks went without a hitch even with old recommended drivers. I will review your links ASAP.
Meanwhile can you tell me why some of the GPU algorithms are unchecked by default and marked with different color in v1.7.5.12? Does that mean they are incompatible with GPU?
