980 GTX Ti

Hello all,

I am new to bitcoin mining, and decided to try Ethereum mining with my GTX 980 Ti.

I am currently using Claymore Dual GPU Miner v9.5.

Currently doing ~2MH/s which seems pretty low, whats your opinion? It also makes my computer extremely slow.

Here is my batch file

Any tips will be greatly appreciated.

If you want to mine ETH with a 980 TI you have to use Linux, then you'll get about 22mhs. With the regular 980 you can downgrade the drivers to 347.52 and get good hashrates but the TI cant use that old drivers. If you dont want to use Linux I can recommend mining Zcash instead, you'll get about 470 Sol/s.

you don't mine eth with nvidia, and 980ti is an old card really, better to point at skein or other nvidia algo like lbry zcash, but with the 980ti efficiency is better to sell it and buy a 1070 which is faster with less consumption, 1/2 of a 980ti

It is too old for me. Try to sell it and buy rx series or buy 1070ti or 1080ti gaming cards. These is more than your video card right now. Sell then you will have you fund for your next gpu. It can create more and it can mine well because it is faster than your  gpu and it can make more hashrate. Try to change it buddy. It can make better.
