Novel Altcoin Idea - The power to change the world

Hello everyone,

I'm new in this community, I had a really good idea, I thought it could be implemented as an altcoin so I wanted to share it with everyone so I can get some feedback, know if you are insterested and work with me on it!
So let's get started. Long story short, this coin/asset won't have PoW or PoS to grow, because it will be based on real assets. For simplicity let'x call it XYZ. So how dows it works?

This will be the currency used to operate (rent, sell , etc) real estate properties around the world.
You can buy XYZ for a certain ammount in any currency, so you buy it online and now you own some XYZ. So the Market Cap of XYZ grows by this ammount.
XYZ can be used to buy real estate tokens of XYZ, let's call the XYZ-?. For example:
1- You can INVEST this XYZ in 4 different apartments in some shares, so now you own some % of this apartments. In other words, you spend your XYZ in some XYZ-1, XYZ-2, XYZ-3 and XYZ-4.
2- The apartments are rented and managed by a company. So you earn XYZ-? each month with the rentals. Also you can sell your apartment tokens in an open market and other people can buy them with XYZ.
3- The price of XYZ-? will be based on properties appraisals every few months.
So this is a currency for real estate crowdfundinv investing, based on real estate properties around the world. The XYZ currency price will change based on the trading market, just like any stock.

So how to get started?

I have a solid programming background, so it would be nice a recommentaion on which system should be used. I found Ripple IOUs and Bitshares interesting.


Also, this is not only an idea, i have a Minimum Viable Product with my startup (yes, it is a real estate company), feel free to visit it at https://www.inviertepropiedades.com/ (Sorry it's only available in spanish right now, but you can get the idea. The listing are 100% real, I have some listing pending from other companies in the US and Spain, so it can get pretty big).
I have been working on my startup for over a year now, but not that long on the website (it uses some killer technologies that I had to learn).
So this new currency will also help me to kickstart my startup, the project is much bigger than this, but im really confident that cryptocurrency technologies will held the foundations of the future.

Hope you folks like it. I'm 100% into this. I woud really like to hear about anyone wanting to buy a XYZ pre-release and invest in this project.

PS: Why I said in the title this has the power to change the world? Because we are investing in people lives, making the real estate market accesible not only for a few. Making investing in this market open to anyone. This is founding a currency to stop giving the power to control our lives (based on the economy) only to a few. For me, it's the moment to change how the system works, based on real assets shared by all of us. The banks have the leverage thanks to the real estate market, this is the opportunity to change it all. Just give it a second though.

In my country the real estate agents pay the politician to put people like you in jail. You have no freedom to disrupt their monopoly. You have no freedom to try something like this in my country you will go to jail. If you try this do it a country that believes in freedom.

Thanks for your answer 2bfree! It's almost too good that in my country (Chile), we have a good economic scenario but we are really poor in normatives! For example there are almost NONE real estate normatives, so any one (and I mean anyone) can sell properties (as a broker). Also with some traction I can raise government money for this, there are lot's of startup programs. What a better place to start this?

I have never been to Chile and plan to visit south America next year. I know in East Europe and also in West no country will let you do Real Estate unless you do it 100% their way and pay fees to the associations and rules etc.. You deviate one bit you can go to jail.

Where do you have freedom to do realestate without the Mob extorting a racket from you I don't know.

Great Questions! This is the kind of debate that I wanted to generate.
1- Let's compare REIT with this approach:
- REIT funds became really popular, but actually some countries, including Chile, don't have one yet.
- Both XYZ and REIT are low risk, high reward because of the diversification.
- XYZ is not a REIT itself, it's a currency that you can use to buy some XYZ-?, which are assets, and make your own portafolio. So you decide in which properties to invest and how much, REIT funds dont have that flexibility. So a combinatios of XYZ-? make a RITS.
- From my platform, you will be able to trade this XYZ-? with XYZ.
- You will have visibility of all the properties being administrated, you will know who lives in each property you onw some %, see pictures of the property every 6 months, watch that all the expenses are being paid, etc. This is about visibility and transparency. REIT funds dont have that, you dont know how properties are being managed.
- I don't know any RITS this international reach.
- I would like to make it secure for investor, so XYZ can be made using the same regulations that RITS funds use.
- REIT funds usually mix mortgage and equity. This will be based only on equity. So you earn a monthly income from rentals + the future value of the property because of the appraisal every few months.
- I want to introduce online actions later! So you will be able to buy a property in auctoin with XYZ, you can own the 100% of this XYZ-?, we can reapair the property and rent it. Those properties being in auction are MUCH cheaper, in Chile we have a few thousend auctions every year, so it's a few properties every day, not a bad volume at all.

2- Why is it important that it's a cryptocurrency?
It isn't! It's not necessary to use cryptucurrencyes, but we all know that databases are prone to hacking, so this is an extra security layer. Let's use the technologies that are in our reach.
Another pro is that cryptocurrencies became really popular, and you can trade most of them with bitcoin, you can trade Ethereum with bitcoin now, etc. So making XYZ tradeable with bitcoin will make it reachable around the world.
I can integrate the platform with Stripe, with Stripe you can pay with dollar, euro, bitcoin, etc. They are not yet in Chile that's why I havent dont it yet. I'm just waiting for them.
I can you use CLP or CLF (Chilean currencies) and accep[t EUR-USD, etc as payments. But i like the idea of a cryptocurrency, as it is novel, it will have a lot of traction I think, I can reach the news and newspapers on my country (at the beginning) as a new way to invest that is reachable to all the country (and the globe).

Hope it helps to further discussions and hope that there are more questions left, so we can all make clear those ideas in our minds. I'm not the "owner of the truth" or something like that. Just wanted to share my idea to make it better with you so it can be improved.
