Awright, I bit: just nought ~3.1 million XEM. But I have to conserve Internet usage for now: damned overage charges have kicked in. I'll check back in about a week.
Nice to have you on board !
Your timing was good I suppose
Very good timing.
Thanks to you both. My Internet accounts now on a new month, so I can afford to run some nodes again.
But to be frank, I really didn't expect this jump. Instead I was planning to just lock away the NEM in the Supernode - which I plan to set up in a Digital Ocean droplet with a fixed IP - and HODL the NEM for "years." Of course, I had the usual HODLers fantasies dancing around in my head
but I didn't expect much action all that soon. Essentially, I imagined donating US$10 a month (by paying for the droplet) as a service to the NEM network with a "yuge" capital gain in five or so years as a long-term incentive.
And now that I brought up the subject: I downloaded the NEM standalone "package" - nis-ncc-0.6.73 - and was expecting to find a Nxt-like setup: command-line server and localhost-shortcut client. I saw four different .bat files but no URL-shortcut to localhost followed by the port number. Did I download the wrong package, or does NEM's server-wallet combo work differently from Nxt's? Thanks.
