Its required if the ERC20 custom token is not showing in your ETH wallet but even you didnt add it you will still recieve a airdrop if you qualify in their airdrop qualification.

No. You will not see the tokens in your wallet (although they can be seen in Etherscan token transfers), but the airdrop will be received regardless. You may add the custom token later.

even if you add or not the custom token to your etherwallet you can still receive it in your wallet and check it on etherscan.io you transaction history. But in order to show up the coin in your address you need to add custom token in your wallet

No, as long as you registered in an airdrop and they got your detail

You will be able to receive the tokens without adding any custom tokens, you can add after you receive it
