As soon as Coinbase is back online, Im sending my funds to my Bitfinex/Bittrex account. Im done with their BS.

Im just trying to hold off so I can move everything to my Ledger Nano S but this is complete nonsense.

I am not trying to download every single wallet of the alt coins I own but I need to so I can get them all off exchanges but Coinbase is pissing me off to no end.

LOL Yeah Coinbase sever down is normal, when you see it up, it's not normal. Me too I am done with Coinbase, I started to move to different alternatives, I can't accept to give funds to a company that is not able to take care of their infrastructures. But what i'm not agree with you is telling such situation is normal in this field. Their activity is 100% online, if it happens to one of this banks operating 100% online they will lost several customers for sure, it's what is going to happen with Coinbase

Are you sure about bitfinex? they are known for weak security but bittrex could be nice platform for you.

You can use jaxx wallet which gives you full control over your bitcoins where you can hold any coin like ltc, eth, etc, xmr and many more.

You are not the only one which has moved from Coinbase.
I had a bad experience with them - they are too stupid to understand that I'm a sole proprietor and I don't have a tax ID - they continue to ask me a tax ID
