I have excellent reputation on Paxful and you can see here on my profile below:

https://paxful.com/user/DanielFragaBR

Today the user "Natedagreatgmm1" tried to buy $50 with Amazon gift card (pwA1Pxnr51n). I already sold bitcoin before to this user and all 3 trades in the past were fine. I tried to redeem the card and the card was "already redeemed to another account". I explained it to the buyer Natedagreatgmm1:

https://paxful.com/user/Natedagreatgmm1

The buyer said I was the first seller he sent the gift card. I suggested he to call Amazon or complain to CVS/Pharmacy and he answered nobody helped him. I said I can't accept a used gift card and started a dispute.

After a long conversation with the moderator "Marcos", the moderator decided to award the buyer!!! It's unbelievable.

Conclusion: the message the Paxful moderator is sending is "all buyers can buy a card, buy from one seller, then buy from another and win free money". This is a scammer's dream!!

It's so unbelievable... so I complained in the chat to moderator and the answer is:

"We take a look in all the proofs, all the past trades, everything, this is not a "casino" decision."

Well, so tell me where I scammed any buyer in the past. How can I be a scammer if I have excellent reputation here and on Localbitcoins too:

Well, sellers, if you depend on this moderation, you'll lose money from now. Be careful!

UPDATE: a possible solution is to include a big warning on the ad: "if the card was already used and redeemed to another account, I can't accept it and you MUST cancel the trade. By buying with me you agree with these trade terms".

I too had a terrible experience with Marcos of Paxful.

He gave me terrible advice which resulted in me not getting refunded.

That's crazy talk.

Something similar like this happened to me with an Amazon gift card when I just started trading. I opened a dispute
right on the trade window, an admin stepped in, saw what had happened, and banned the
scammers account. I have been trading on Paxful ever since.

You're lucky. If the moderator was "Marcos", maybe you would lose money. Be careful.

Sorry to hear that. I had no issues trading with Paxful ever since. I don't know who is this Marcos. I haven't encountered him when I joined. I am very careful in doing my trades. I make sure that all my trades are recorded. I do the recording via Screencast so that in case I got into trouble, I have the clear evidence.
