Hi There, still waiting Ledger wallet support and as 2 BTC are involved, I do not want to make any fatal mistakes.

   • I launch the Ledger Bitcoin on my Mac
   • Then plug my Ledger Nano S on USB
   • Input my PIN
   • Open Bitcoin app....but nothing happen and Ledger Wallet Bitcoin stay locked

    • If I open the Bitcoin Cash app on the Ledger, the Ledger Wallet Bitcoin unlock

   • Then Choose  Bitcoin

   • and legacy, then my BTC appears

but If I inititiate a transfer on the Ledger wallet, the transaction confirmation appears in BCH and fails

Huh? So did you send BTC to a BCH wallet or is this just a glitch on your Ledger that you're describing here? If you sent one asset to another's address, you'll just need to import the address of where the funds where sent into a wallet for the type of crypto that was sent to that address.

So if you sent BTC to a BCH address, take the BCH private key and import it I to a BTC wallet. Done. Easy. No worries at all.

It's because they set up the BCH wallet so you could get the BCH that was stored using the original BTC addresses. It's just a "quirk" of the Ledger wallet that you can select BCH and it will show the BTC addresses.

If the BTC app is not working, but BCH app is, then it's probably just a config issue, the Ledger itself is working properly, so that's good! Wink

I would suggest checking the "browser support" setting... this is the most one that will stop the "Ledger Wallet Bitcoin" from detecting your device has been unlocked. Try going into the Bitcoin "app" settings on your Ledger (enter PIN, select Bitcoin, select "settings") and then make sure that browser support is set to "NO".

You are my hero, worked well and can transfer now
