So I'm new to this whole thing. I'm generally pretty competent with computers, but bitcoin has been a challenge for me. Regardless, I currently am have trouble using the method described in the wiki to secure my wallet (running OS X). I have a disk image of the Bitcoin folder, but when I put the command line into terminal to make the symlink, I get this response: ":ln: Support/Bitcoin/: No such file or directory".

Not quite sure what to do. I can make the symlink of the volume, but can't figure how to get the application to use it. Is terminal having trouble reading the space in the command?

You need to escape the space at the end of Application

Should look something like..

~/Library/Application\ Support/Bitcoin/
