Heres my scenerio.

I want to load a key (or a few keys) up with bitcoin, then put those keys on a disk/cd/whatever and physically hand that medium to someone, then i want them to be able to add these keys to their wallet to receive the coins. is it possible?

I know i could just transfer the coins over the network, but i am wondering if my physical way is possible

It's possible, but not yet implemented.

... and the person you hand the keys to will have to trust that you didn't keep a copy of them (or if you did, that you won't spend them before they do).

How often do you get the chance to work on a potentially world-changing project?

Make a new wallet, send coins to it, then pass that wallet file onwards.

I thought about that, how do you "generate a new wallet"? if you remove your wallet.dat does it just generate new keys and create a new wallet?
