I'm mostly just satisfying my curiosity. Still have a lot to learn. I'm more about interested in alt currency as n actual means of purchasing goods. I've never been much for the market game, but that may change.

EXPRESSCOIN- Lose 20% of your value before even getting coins?!?!Sounds great!

Security, a guard against inflation and it's just so much better to use than a bank, I hope it stays.

I'm waiting for BTC to hit the million dollar mark, then I'll be a millionaire (and hopefully not because the dollar has gone all reichsmark on us)

I earn 'em and then spend all of them on video games. Wish I knew how to successfully invest though i think I'd still spend most of it on video games. Grin

Originally jumped in out of fear that they would become mainstream soon and I would miss out on a great opportunity. Stayed because I fell in love with the system and the community, even though I don't purchase much with them.

I originally started mining out of interest.
Then had a streak of bad luck and lost almost all mining profits.
Got mad and left Bitcoin for what is was.

Next thing I hear (months later) it's tanking from $250.
Bought back in at the low point.
Now spend time investing it through shares/bonds.

I haven't actually bought anything physical though, yet.
So right now it's an investment.
Hope I get a chance to use it soon.

I think it's the next big disruptive technology, and i think in 10 years time we'll be using bitcoin everyday wondering how on earth we got along without it for so long (kind of like how the internet is now).
