Avout Slovenia, power prices are moderate but maybe there are some individuals that are heavily investing in bitcoins, whatever their purpose.
Probably an anomaly, it's such a small country.

Canada I don't know?

Canada have the environment to be a wet dream for all miners. We have cheap electricity, awesome access to every computer part needed and the mining heat can be considered like a profit half of the year. We also have Virtex, an awesome exchange where you can buy BTC in usually less than 2 days by using direct transfer from bank account. I never saw any canadian complaining about buying/selling Bitcoins since it's so easy.

And overall, it's a well developed country and is similar to Finland and Sweden in many ways (it depends of the province though).

Slovenia is home to bitstamp.net, at least.

I know this because Tyler knows this.

Seems to be a definite bias towards cold climates.  I wonder whether that will change with ASIC mining.

Eh, indeed, im in northern Canada, my mining rig heat my basement, specially in winter !  no more need to lit the fireplace Wink

I'm pretty surprised that Canada comes before US !!!
