Just built my new rig, went smoothly except it shuts off completely when I run a miner. It restarts and Afterburner goes back to default settings.

My PSU was used and missing one GPU cable. They are 12 pin at the PSU and split into two ends of 6+2 connectors. I plugged 2 GTX 1070 on the same cable due to being short. Could that be the problem? I dropped the power draw to 80% on the GTX 1080ti and 85% on the 1070s

Rig:
Pentium g4400
TB250-BTC Pro
Lepa MaxPlatinum 1700w
Kingston 120 gb ssd
8gb (2x4gb) Crucial Ballistix 2400 ram
All cards are on powered USB risers and board has both 4 pin molex plugged.

Cards:
GTX 1080ti x4 (2x Zotec AMP! edition, 2x MSI Armor)
GTX 1070 x2 (Gigabyte Gaming G1)

I also didn't have a 4th cable with SATA power so I have 2 cards on each cable but the last one is powering the SSD as well, could that be a problem?
