Is online chat is okay to have in this Board?

I just think lately that it would be nice for this board to have a chat board like in facebook group chat different board have a different chat room what is going to be a problem with that what is your opinion guys? let me know.

Create an IRC/Slack room and invite whoever you want to it. There is no point of Bitcointalk using their already limited resources to re-invent the wheel.

is the bitcointalk.org forum have a fixed design, I don't know it I'm just thinking it lately IRC is a good idea but I have in mind that different section can only chat with the same section.

Ah yes I know it is time consuming if oneself reprogram a publish site.

It isn't so much about the design or the time it would take to implement (although those are other problems that I failed to consider), it's that the server is already struggling to keep up. Adding more features that could just be replaced (and probably do a better job) by other services would just be wasting server resources that could be used on the forum.

I'm looking for ways to avoid shit posters and the idiots who add me on telegram groups with lame ideas and other discussions.Even if someone starts a group with provisions to add random users from the forum,I'd stay away from it because the only members interested in joining those groups would be shit posters looking for opportunities to make few satoshi's. The smarter one's already have their own groups..

I don't even know some people if not few are shit posters, if the idea are spread it could get worse eventually the board is better fine if fixed.

If the server is struggling to keep up the redesign would be a big help apparently I think it would be a good decision if the resources will be use on forum instead of reinventing the whole board.

I really hope that the forum to be upgraded since a lot of users been using it which is natural since this forum is made by the founder of Bitcoin and other more reasons.

That board doesn't count any posts you made hence it would be useless for shitposters particularly spammers for the sake of signature campaign. You can refer to the post hilariousandco's alt:

I am somewhat disappointed that the wall observer thread didn't get moved to a chat room style sub. I think it would have been a great opportunity to test a potential solution to the signature spam problem that we have currently. We could get around the problem with trolls in this kind of thread by requiring users to have a certain small amount of activity before being able to post.

I think this kind of sub might degrade post quality somewhat but would improve quality of conversation and discussion.

As far as I know, signatures would not appear if you post there hence the campaign managers would not count those that are posted there. I think that's enough to counter those spammers and it is much better since it will be moderated rather than let loose in the chatboard with trolls everywhere.

I must say that I agree. I certainly don't think it would be the be all and end all in terms of signature spam, but allowing people to make shitty posts without it affecting the rest of the forum certainly sounds like it would help.

Unfortunately I don't think that this would help too much. People could simply farm up accounts or buy them in order to get in, and with little supervision it would be easy for them to do so. This would be the main issue of a board such as that IMO.

Yes I agree with that it is best to use another service chat rather than to implement another design to this forum.
