In 2016, a photographer from China Liu Xingzhe visited several of the country's largest bitcoin farms. He took photos the interior mining-farms, equipment, and miners themselves. Recently, photo essay Liu Xingzhe published on the ChinaFile.
As you know, bitcoin mining is very popular in remote areas of China's Szechuan province due to cheap electricity and cheap labour force.
The photographs show that the mining farms located in large rooms with professional ventilation systems. Mining cryptocurrency serve workers who live in hostels nearby.
