Central Bank of Albania Lists Five Most Important Bitcoin Risks in Public Warning

The central bank of Albania issued a public announcement on Thursday, warning citizens of the risks related to the use of digital currencies such as bitcoin. It includes five of what the bank considers the “most important” risks associated with digital currencies for Albania.

This is the first time the Bank of Albania has issued a warning about bitcoin, which still has a very small market in the country with only a handful of Localbitcoin traders. This statement follows an earlier warning by the Albanian Financial Supervisory Authority about the risks of using any unlicensed online trading platforms, Tirana Times detailed. Bitcoin was not mentioned in that previous warning.

Five points that most people involved in crypto are already aware of. Central banks will keep rehashing these basic risks that are connected with crypto in general. I guess this is all part of the growth that Bitcoin is going through in various countries. At least they aren't stating things with a negative tone, as has been the case with various statements from other central banks. I noticed that throughout the majority of the recent news articles, governmental statements, various financial institutions being extremely bullish, that there is a mentality shift happening (in a positive way). I hope this will continue in the coming years.

This is the real progress for Albania by my opinion. This news shows that even in there people are interested in bitcoin. I was there on a vacation and can say that its poor developing country. But must be exactly this fact makes crypto-currencies so attractive there, it's a good financial support to all people over the world indeed.
