ABOUT UNIX COIN
Unixcoin is a new crpytocurrency to explain to the public about coding and how computers work. Unixcoin's value will grow exponentially due to the rapid block halving. We are using SHA-3 because this new algo seen with Maxcoin is easier to run on GPU's and there are no ASIC's planned for SHA-3. Also SHA-3 is much more secure because the security algorithm is more secure than SHA-256. SHA-3 also equals out the difference between Nvidia and AMD GPU's. This Algo is also much easier on the GPU and will not stress out the card and reach dangerous temperatures.
A small period of 150 blocks will contain fewer coins to prevent instamining. Unixcoin will have block times of 60 seconds so that fast transactions are ensured and no absurd amount of orphan blocks occur like other cryptocurrencies under 60 second. A two block difficulty time will ensure that miners will not take advantage of low difficuty and pull out as soon as the difficulty is raised.
Unixcoin will have a total of ~1,000,000 coin supply. After the instamine protection of 0.1 coins for 150 blocks has passed, the block reward will start at 20 coins and halve every 25,000 blocks untill block 150150 then transaction fees will be mined. Mining is taken place on the simple to use Modified CGminer.
