Welcome to the forum Mr. Shill. Nice first post.
As much as ETH will rise, it will not displace bitcoin, it has a completely different setup, use case and works fundamentally different.
Although i believe there is good profit to be made with ETH, it is based on PoS, or in this case Proof-of-Vitalik. Which means it just another shitcoin hidden under a whole lot of brilliant ideas. Still good for speculation and making a lot of money though.

Why the price of ETH is somehow connected with Bitcoin market price? If BTC price goes up ETH price goes up as well proportionately, and BTC falls ETC also falls. What is the connection?

The whole crypto market is connected to bitcoins movements. Its like the reserve cryptocurrency. The one coin that rules them all. As bitcoin loses dominance and the market continues to grow, bitcoin will have less and less of an impact on the rest.

Honestly, I firmly believe that there will be several strong crypto-currencies in the future. Just like there are several strong fiat currencies. It's extremely rare that there's only one of a kind in any given situation.
In fact, I can't even think of a case where there is only one of a kind. There's always variations or copies that perform well on their own of anything that I can think of.

Nah, this kind of shills is already common in those forum. Always proclaiming that ETH will surpass bitcoin anytime soon since they are just purely basing on the marketcap. All i can say is that I really dont care as long i can able to make money on both sides then it would be just fine for me and i dont really care at looking on the marketcap of between this two coin but somehow my loyalty do always in Btc and you cant blame me since this is the father of all crypto.

I dont think bitcoin and ethereum price dependent on each other . Ethereum getting famous because of lots of ICO happening based on ethereum platform and both bitcoin and ether having different fundamental strategy.
