As long as you will keep your private keys safe then you are still safe.
If you plan in entering both just make sure first that you understand and you have a little background to the project to lessen the chances that you will be scam.
My answer to your question. Yes it is safe as long as you will be careful to your data.

Airdrop and bounty both joining is safe if you dont give your private key to them. i think there is no bounty where op want private key for register on bounty camp.but recently i seen two airdrop came where they said put etherneum private key for registration . so such type of airdrop is fake and scamming. dont join like this airdrop.and keep your private key in safe.

I agree. You can join both airdrop and bounty as long as you keep your private key and no one knows it. Don't believe the airdrop if it is asking your private key its totally fake. There are a lot of scammers out there so take care of your accounts

Why should'nt it be safe to participate in an airdrop or a bounty campaign?

Unless you will not give your private key to anyone you are safe. It is not a security issue to hand out your ADDRESS to third parties.

Like everyone said, if you keep your private key safe, and with safe i mean not keeping it on any device connected to the internet, then you should be fine. What i would give more attention is the airdrops that wants you to download the wallet, with those you should be extra careful.

May I also suggest if they ask your email address rather use an alias or even open an email account specifically for bounties.

I noticed reason devs ask emails in airdrops is to spam you with ico's!

Well, people should be highly selective in participating in airdrop and as a matter of important, we should be mindful of information we provided.

Personally, I always run, whenever I observed they are requesting something more personal or as to do with my privacy
