Hello,

I have a kraken account and i deposited some fiat on it.
I did not buy any coins yet (waiting for the right time) but what i noticed is that the fiat value is slowly decreasing by cents!!

So for example, i would have 2000 and then the next day or so it would be 1999.99
It is now at 1999.98 even

Is that normal or something?

Thank you

Doubtful, feels like you misunderstood something.
Can you post proof of your balance decreasing?

I agree. There is definitely some sort of misunderstanding. I do not see how this would be a thing, and if it was there would be more reports on it.

If you are 100% sure this is happening, simply contact Kraken support & ask them why and hopefully they can fix it for you.

Do you have any open orders? There is a fee for letting some types of orders opened over an specific amount of hours.

Thank you all for the replies and no there are no open orders.
I have some bitcoins going but this should be separate.
I deposited on the 13th and as of today a total of 3 cents is 'written off'

Yet when i check the ledger, it states there were no transactions or any fees

I have reached out to support to see why this is happening.
It would be interesting if they did this with bitcoins (and other coins) as well..... there is no way to really check i think?

Have contacted Kraken, but no reply.

After buying bitcoins at a low last week, i haven't touched it ever since.
Yet i notice the same decrease happening with my bitcoins as well!!

So every day the Ledger states a Rollover for Bitcoin (XBT) and each day my Bitcoin decreases with 0.00001

Should i be worried about this or is this normal??

That fee is charged on open positions every 4 hours. Are you sure you have no open positions?

I think you need to follow up again to Kraken if you're issues has persisted. I don't know what is happening and totally deducting to your funds. I guess you are not alone having issues with them so the better way is to really making follow ups to see what is going on with your account. I don't know if this is a software bug or something because I know there is also a reddit members that complain a similar incident as yours and Kraken was quick to answer it and says it has something to do with a flaw in their software or something or they can't reproduce the issue which is really funny to me. Just continue to bug them mate.

Maybe theres a policy in Kraken that if you store your funds in fiat that is lower than the required minimum, they take a daily fee. Check their faq and their terms of service.
