they earn from ads.

for example, i have TomyGame.com and earn about 0.03 btc daily from ads, so i try to keep daily payouts in average of 0.02 to 0.025 btc to keep site up with my little profits.

most sites are same, but freebitco.in has less ads, i guess they gain more earning from Gambling game (Multiply Bitcoins) and from other projects they have (bitcoin mining i guess).

You can simply google how to set up a faucet site, however you need a starting capital, and you will probably be unable to make profit until you have a good alexa rating and a solid userbase. It's not easy these days to start one.

I've made 200 Dogecoin in a week from this site of you want to get some before they start rising!

It's a faucet which gives you coins every five minutes, not sure how they profit from it, but I love a freebie!

General faucets earn from ads income (banners, short-links).

But in case of FreeBitco.in I'm not sure... They don't display any banner, does anyone know if all their income come from gambling Dice and the mining farm like DonaldBitcoin said?

I'd have to bet that most, if not all, faucets derive their income from ads - with some of them relying on referral income from affiliate programs (the kind you see for cloud Bitcoin mining). The rest is from faucet referral income. The top 3 faucets currently in my bitcoin faucet rotator earn more than the rest combined, but ads still make up the vast majority of my rotator's revenue.

I see you are using free hosting plan of Wordpress.com
Unfortunately, free Wordpress hosting on Wordpress.com (without any paid plan) doesn't offer you the ability to put your ad banners in it.
You need to host your website in a platform which offers you the ability to put your own ad banners/popups to get revenues from adverts.

Hint: try 000WebHost to begin viewing how things work.
