I've read many good stories about Ripple and is a proud supporter of Ripple but recently read that a group of banks are joining forces, and  planning to create their own system similar to Ripple.

What does this mean for Ripple and what is you prediction for Ripple in the future.

I cannot tell the its future market cap or any kind of things but their project really attract a lot of banks and seems it will continue to grow in terms of team and operations.

However to the question why would they use a 3rd party?  Does uber have cars? Does airbnb have real estate? Does facebook really have content?

ripple has its own product for banks and they go with ripple due to their quality product. Why you feel that some banks try to do the same is a threat to ripple. If some one leave, a new client will come.It is a market phenomenon that clients comes and goes to the companies, if your product have specialty, clients comes to you there-self.

My prediction about ripple's future is the price will going to the moon because ripple is a good coin and a good profit on it. Ripples is on top volume marketcap which is in the third of highest marketcap in the crypto world. It is next on ethereum so long live ripple.

Even if bank join forces to make their own system that is similar to ripple, it doesn't mean anything for it after all people doesnt want a decentralized copy of any coin unless ripple will be used by the banks and I predict price will grow in the future. For sure the community will keep supporting ripple silently or actively, because it still has potential.

it is not just some banks, it has always been the banks that were supporting it. they always come in, learn the stuff and pretend they care and the ripple supporters go berserk because of the "good" news and then after a while the same banks get out and create their own system disconnected from ripple for their own benefit.

and ripple's supply is massive. it is 100 billion in total and the circulating amount is also big. they keep promising to "burn" some but we keep seeing they released a new batch of supply when price goes up!
and you know what they say about supply and demand

and nobody really supports these things. you can see from all the comments regarding ripple. every single person only cares about the price and how they can earn more profit from it. profit on their fiat or BTC they put in.

Yeah , the future of ripple coin is really bright .
Because it is banking sector coin and here in this coin you can buy and hold without at any risk because if you have ripple and no one is buying it then you can sell in bank( not in all but in most of the bank ) .
So due to its technology most of the people are buying for 2-3 years long term investment .
But in this coin you can't see the big fluctuations because it is worldwide commonly use coin but still you can see the jump in the price 4-5% daily .
Here a negative point also for the ripple coin is that it has no wallet for openly to use by anyone , Even the exchange have only code to store the ripple in thier exchange without wallet . So people can't buy it because they have no option to put in wallet for long run .
But still it have good future like bitcoin then anyone coin have .

I was hoping for a ripple but in the last few months I've changed that. I think the ripple is only focused and developed technology but not developed in the cryptocurrency market
