My opinion is that ETH is god mode. Everyone needs to buy ETH asap.

If it was at $400 before the difficulty bomb, then technically it can reach $440 with the same demand

Yea I believe its Eth's time to shine again now. Now that the fork has happened I expect eth and a lot altcoins begin to rise again this month. But then again, the way the market is, who knows.

Does anyone know when exactly ETH will switch over to PoS?

I feel like it's getting postponed every time but I don't know of a way to follow it. It'd be great for other GPU mineable coins and terrible for $AMD and $NVDA

ETH it is the only project never lost a Penney from my bitcoin stock either now or after entering POS status so buying now at the current price will make you in good profit due to coming bump and almost all whale busy with BCC .

I think the bad days for the miners are approaching. It has lasted a long time, but the events seem to go away as I guess. I hope it does not hurt too much.

I was just wondering what caused this sudden 10% price jump. But then, this news isn't going to be known by most ETH people, unless you are saying it's just miners driving the price up to replace "lost money".

to be honest this doesn't look anything like difficulty bomb. that thing is supposed to go off by the time they plan on changing the PoW to PoS and when it happens i assure you that there will be a lot of noise because for now people are happily mining it with their GPU and that will be the kill switch for it.
and not to mention that ETC also has that bomb implanted a long time ago.

I still think that ETH is way overpriced since most token were created during ICO, and not much were mined, so mining difficulty should not affect the price too much.

Eth is not interesting for me at this moment. At all. Its only use is for ICOs.

Transitioning to Pos wont really an interesting thing for me but for some they are waiting for that thing to happen.ETH now do really suffer on mining difficulty surge because there are lots of miners which is really a normal thing to happen though. Just like on any altcoin in the market have been mined by people difficulty does rise up for sure.
