So something that I've always wanted to do was FPGA mine a shitcoin lol.

Problem is, where the hell do I start? How does one learn to speak the language of an FPGA and tell it to perform the task of mining? What would be a good starting board to play around with?

This is something I really want to attempt myself, but I just really don't know where to start. I'm somewhat familiar with the basics of Python for example, but from what I've heard, programming for FPGA's is really on the harder side.

Do you guys think you could help point me in the right direction? I'm mainly looking to make this into a cool hobby thing, just as I like to build my own computers, put together mining rigs, etc.
