I'm mining with 1 MSi r7950 and 1 MSi r7850 on a asus p8z77-v LX motherboard. For some reason in MSi afterburner GPU2 is at 0% usage. Anyone have any idea why? I'm using a GUIminer on windows 7.

Weird, I am having the same problem.  2 7950s.  One just stopped working after working fine for 2 months.  Fans power up and motherboard detects it.  But whenever I try to mine litecoin, one of them crashes the AMD driver, and a message pops up saying the driver has recovered... then only one card hashes.  I updated the drivers and reseated the cards and plugs but no dice.  Going to spray with canned air soon as it is open air and dusty, but hoping to hear if you are able to fix yours...

Somewhere I read it's a Catalyst 13.4+ problem. It can't use VGA without monitor.
Dummy plug solves it.

Dummy plug is a possibility
but since you're using Guiminer you might need to open a second tab in the program and select the other GPU as the device.
