2 step verification, lost phone, how to get in? Can anyone access my account?

I have set up a 2 step verification to most of my exchanges and online crypto currency plattforms.

I use my phone and my app called google authenticator when logging in.

What happens if I lose my phone?

I guess there would be a small risk someone will be able to gain access to my accounts.

And also, how do I do to access my accounts if my phone is lost or stolen?
