I want to create cold wallets for all my cryptos, but I am aware that there are many security risks. First of all I want to do it on a offline linux system which is booted from USB, since this seems to be the only secure way aside from hardware wallets which do not support enough altcoins usually.

I think this guide for Monero is pretty good: https://www.reddit.com/r/Monero/comments/48cgmd/an_extensive_guide_for_securely_generating_an/

But I need to create keys for other cryptos, too. I am aware of the risk, that even offline, a malicious (or bad written) wallet generator could shrink the room for the generated keys and thus can be harmful even if you generate your keys completely offline. So I have to have a lot of trust into the generating code.

Which wallet generators do you use/recommend for each altcoin (+bitcoin)? Is there a wallet that is VERY safe and serves many (like exodus etc.)?

That's probably general computer or information security question
