So im somewhat new here though Ive been observing, wondering if anyone can guide me on mining Yacoin on my Dell Vostro V130. Due Regards.

Forget about mining. Why does it take so long to update the blockchain? Much longer than on Bitcoin.

Yacoin, Bitcoin and other Clones take longer confirmation. I would stick to PowerCoin, It has very big Potential to be successful. Confirmation time takes only 30 seconds - 5 minutes maximum. And it has more advanced features than bitcoin itself.
