I guess when you are as rich as Howard Marks you don't really understand that for the common man the actions of the governments and bankster cartels printining away the value of your savings is lost on him.

It really just sounds like Howard Marks hasn't done his research on what bitcoin is and what it's goals are. He is right on one thing though, that bitcoin is just commonly used for trading, as even though stores/companies are slowly but surely adopting bitcoin, only a small minority is using bitcoin as a payment option at the moment. Usually on 1st world countries like in the US or countries like China, but it's barely used on 3rd world countries.
